I always find myself very interested in things that are believed to be true until they are proven otherwise. One of the best known stories among those is the famous Galileo Galilei episode with the Earth revolving around the Sun. In the middle of the changes that were happening, others like Nicolaus Copernicus and Aristarchus of Samos were lost because people didn’t listen to them, and the evolution in rational thinking got delayed. Recently, I remembered a passage from the book Trust Me, I’m Lying - Confessions of a Media Manipulator by Ryan Holiday, one that is particularly interesting in terms of our political context right now. Take a look and see for yourself what, if anything, has changed since 2013 when this edition was published.

Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.

- George Bernard Shaw
