Randomness as Deception

Constantly interested in new ideas about deception, I came across an interesting text from The Folly of Fools by Robert Trivers that clear showcases how the human brain processes information. Patterns are simple and make things simpler for the mind. We try to use logic and reason to incorporate new information, so the easiest way of not fitting anywhere is just to be random. Happening not only in humanity but also in nature, this is an interesting idea worth knowing about.
